Privacy policy

Retentit is made by Soofani Inc. This policy covers the Retentit Study app for iPhone and iPad.

What stays on your device

Your subjects, notes, cards, review history and settings are stored only on your device. Retentit has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Backups and exports go only where you choose to save or share them.

AI drafting

If you allow it, "Draft with AI" sends the text you choose and the subject name to Retentit's drafting service, hosted by Supabase in the EU, which passes it to Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, and returns draft cards. Nothing that identifies you is sent with it. Retentit doesn't store the text. Anthropic may retain it for a limited time to operate and secure its service and doesn't use it to train its models; see Anthropic's privacy policy.

Drafting stays off until you allow it in the app, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings → AI drafting.

Reminders

If you turn on the daily reminder, it is scheduled on your device. No reminder data leaves it.

This website

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs to run and protect the site.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your device. There is no copy anywhere else, except backups you saved yourself.

Children

Retentit doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
